 The TT-3062A Capsat Rod Telephone will turn your vehicle into a high quality communication center, giving you true independent and global interconnection to any destination in the world, being high quality telephone calls, fax prints, data transfer or e-mail messages. Designed in a compact and ruggedised all Magnesium case, the TT-3062A will provide the reliabel connection no matter your location, extending your mobility from "GSM" coverage to true global coverage.
Due to the very compact design of the main electronics unit and low power Rod antenna, the Capsat Rod Telephone can easily be installed in a large variety of vehicles, ranging from longhaul trucks to off-roaders. It is operated from the handset just like a normal GSM telephone, from the 2-wire DTMF phone interface, from a connected fax machine or from the data port through Hayes AT command sets. The low power Rod antenna offers high reliability due to a ruggedised design with no moving parts. The Rod antenna and the remote HPA/LNA unit may be relocated up to 70 meters from the main electronics unit.
The Capsat Rod Telephone fully supports hands-free operation, ensuring safe driving while talking. The flexible design of the dashboard unit allows easy installation, as well as easy access to both fax, aux. Phone and data connections. |
